The
San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce announces their inaugural
Networking Sundowner in celebration of the chamber’s new name
and identity. The Sundowner will be hosted by Ruth’s Chris
Steakhouse in Carmel Valley at 11582 El Camino Real, on
Thursday, July 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The San Diego Coastal
Chamber of Commerce invites members and non-members in the local
business community for an evening of networking, celebration and
delicious food. Ruth’s Chris will be serving an unforgettable
array of appetizers in addition to a no-host bar with one of the
best selections of wine in San Diego.
The
Del Mar Regional Chamber of Commerce, one of the leading
regional chambers in San Diego County, announced today its new
name and organizational identity. Effective July 1, 2008, the
Del Mar Regional Chamber of Commerce will officially become the
San Diego Coastal Chamber of Commerce, with the tagline, “Where
business meets opportunity.” “The name San Diego Coastal
Chamber of Commerce reflects our commitment to promoting and
strengthening businesses in our expanding coastal region,” said
Nancy Wasko, Chief Executive Officer. “This change reiterates
our commitment to addressing the needs of the business
community, as well as our own membership constituency. It also
allows us to bring businesses from surrounding coastal
communities together under one umbrella with one purpose.”
The Del Mar Regional
Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee will host a San Diego
City Attorney Candidate Forum on May 9. The Legislative
Committee has invited the following candidates to participate in
the forum: incumbent San Diego City
Attorney Mike Aguirre, Judge Jan Goldsmith, San Diego City
Councilman Brian Maienschein and San Diego Council President
Scott Peters.
The Del Mar Regional
Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Golden Triangle and
Solana Beach Chambers of Commerce, announces their annual 2008
Business EXPO, slated for April 23rd, 2008. The event is open to
the public and admission is free. The EXPO this year is focused
on introducing Chamber members and San Diego citizens to local
businesses with a message to shop locally for essential goods
and services.
This annual event
hosts over 100 exhibitors, showcasing the latest in cutting edge
products and services. The Business EXPO opens at 3:30 p.m. and
will conclude at 7:30 p.m. A Chamber Networking Sundowner will
be held starting at 5:30 p.m. The EXPO will be held at The San
Diego Fairgrounds in the Mission Tower Building.
